This is our 13th year participating in the Great Backyard Bird Count at the Mill. We spend about an hour in the mornings at the Mill starting at 7:30am, counting the birds we see. If you would like to participate in the event, please RSVP by contacting us ahead of time so we can tell you the details and let you know of any weather delays or cancelations.

Saturday, March 22, 2025 – Sugar Maple Celebration – 10am-4pm
We will have a table at the Sugar Maple Celebration at the Sharpe Reservation, hosted by the Fresh Air Fund, in Fishkill, NY. It is a free event with activities and crafts for kids, a vendor hall full of local goods, the opportunity to see an out of this world planetarium show, learn how to make maple syrup, and of course sample some of Sharpe Reservation’s syrup.

Saturday, May 10, 2025 – Mother’s Day Plant Sale – 11:00am-3:00pm
Plant sale at the Mill in honor of Mother’s Day and springtime! Both indoor and outdoor plants will be for sale. All proceeds benefit the restoration of the historic Kimlin Cider Mill.
Plants available this year will be posted closer to the event.
