Welcome to Cider Mill Friends of Open Space & Historic Preservation, Inc. — Cider Mill Friends.  We purchased the Kimlin Cider Mill at 140 Cedar Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY in order to save it from demolition.  We are now working to restore this Town of Poughkeepsie landmark.  You can follow our progress through this website and also on Facebook.  We also have an e-mailing list.

Thanks to our efforts, the Mill is listed on the National and State Historic Registers and is also a Town of Poughkeepsie Historic Landmark.

We are always looking for memories and photographs of the Mill when it was operational.  You can share your memories through this form, and send photographs to us for copying.

Cider Mill Friends of Open Space & Historic Preservation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a volunteer (unpaid) board.  We rely on donations, grants, merchandise sales, and fundraisers to accomplish our goals.
